Kona Ohana Tropicals is a family-oriented aquatic retailer serving Kailua-Kona and Hawaii’s Big Island. With more than 60 years of hands-on experience, the business offers healthy freshwater tropical fish, pond fish, koi, aquatic plants, and supplies for aquariums and ponds. Its stock is carefully selected, with an emphasis on fish and plants that are healthy and ready to thrive.

Beyond products, Kona Ohana Tropicals provides practical guidance for creating and maintaining aquatic environments. The team assists customers with choosing fish and plants, setting up aquariums and ponds, and considering filtration and ecosystem balance. Whether someone is starting a first aquarium, improving a pond, or expanding an established collection, the business aims to offer honest advice and personalized support.

Kona Ohana Tropicals also provides rescue and rehoming assistance to help fish find suitable homes when circumstances change. Combining local service, aquatic expertise, and a welcoming approach, the brand helps customers bring the beauty of nature into their homes and outdoor spaces.
