Kona Skatepark is the oldest surviving skatepark in the world, as recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records. Established in Jacksonville, Florida in the late 70s, this iconic skateboarding park has played a significant role in shaping the sport as it is today. Despite facing economic recessions and industry challenges, Kona Skatepark has stood the test of time, making it the longest surviving privately owned skatepark.
The park features concrete hills, a snake run, and the invention of the modern Vert ramp, which has had a profound impact on skateboarding. Kona Skatepark is not just a place for skateboarders but also a hub for the thriving skateboard community, spirit, and culture. Over the past 40 years, more than 20 professional skateboarders have emerged from Jacksonville.
Whether you're a beginner or advanced skater, Kona Skatepark offers lessons, camps, and sessions for all ages and abilities. Additionally, the venue is available for booking events, such as birthday parties or corporate fundraisers. Located in Jacksonville's Arlington neighborhood, Kona Skatepark is a place where skaters of all ages can find a connection and create lasting memories
