Kongsvinger Sportsskyttere

Kongsvinger Sportsskyttere is an active shooting club based at Egebergbanen in Austmarka, outside Kongsvinger, Norway. Its main discipline is pistol shooting through the Norwegian Shooting Association (NSF), with activities for beginners and experienced competitors. The club also offers black-powder shooting through the Norwegian Black Powder Union, western shooting through the Scandinavian Western Shooters network, and metal silhouette shooting, currently with air pistols.

The Egebergbanen facility includes pistol and revolver firing points at 10, 25 and 50 metres, a field-shooting course, and a separate area with steel targets for western shooting. Members can take part in training, local events and competitions, with club firearms available at regular sessions and ammunition sold by the club. Kongsvinger Sportsskyttere also provides guidance from experienced shooters and regularly arranges mandatory safety courses for new participants.

New members are welcome throughout the year, whether they are new to the sport or already experienced. The club promotes safe shooting, skill development and a strong sense of camaraderie, and shares schedules, courses and event information through its website and social media.
