Konow-Maritim is a family-run maritime business based in Born auf dem Darß, on the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula. Peter and Viola Konow welcome visitors to explore their handcrafted maritime products and enjoy a holiday in the area between the Baltic Sea and the Bodden. The family offers accommodation in a comfortably furnished holiday bungalow, providing a place to stay for an annual vacation or a shorter visit.

Next to the bungalow is a bottle-ship exhibition that is open throughout the year, with free admission for all visitors. In their workshop, the Konows build bottle ships and Zeesenboot models, crafted with close attention to detail. These models and maritime gift items make up the core of the brand’s offerings, bringing traditional nautical themes into distinctive handmade pieces. Visitors can also find information about the exhibition, accommodation, directions, and how to get in touch through the Konow-Maritim website. Combining holiday accommodation, a year-round exhibition, and model-making, Konow-Maritim offers guests a personal introduction to maritime craftsmanship and the character of the Darß region.
