Koop Bestattungen

Bestattungsinstitut Koop is a family-run funeral service in Bremerhaven, Germany, with more than 95 years of experience supporting families through bereavement. Torsten, Bettina and Brix Koop provide respectful, personal guidance and help clients manage the practical arrangements and decisions that follow a death. The team is available around the clock for emergencies and offers office hours from Monday to Saturday.

Its services include funeral planning and organisation, transfers within Germany and abroad, and earth, cremation and sea burials. Koop also helps arrange funeral ceremonies, burial places and dates, and offers viewing arrangements. Through advance funeral planning, individuals can record their wishes and make financial arrangements, helping provide clarity and ease the burden on loved ones.

Additional support includes guidance for bereavement, assistance with a deceased person’s digital estate, and the KoopCard, which connects clients with service partners related to funerals. The institute also provides online customer and memorial portals and hosts remembrance events. Its approach centres on dignity, compassion and reliable support at every stage of farewell.
