Koopmann-Hufbeschlagde

Koopmann Hufbeschlag, led by Nicolai Koopmann, provides professional hoof care and farriery for horses. Its services cover routine hoof trimming, shoeing with quality materials, preventive hoof care, corrective work and specialist orthopaedic shoeing. The practice focuses particularly on complex cases, where hoof corrections or tailored shoeing may be needed to support horses with conditions affecting the hoof, tendons, ligaments or movement.

Nicolai Koopmann is a state-certified farrier, a specialist in orthopaedics, an internationally state-certified farrier and a horse physiotherapist. The practice emphasizes careful, professional work, taking time to address each horse’s needs and prioritizing both equine welfare and customer satisfaction. For individual cases, it develops solutions in consultation with the customer and offers advice about the hoof and the horse’s musculoskeletal system. When treating hoof disease or movement disorders, Koopmann Hufbeschlag works closely with the horse’s attending veterinarian to help achieve the best possible outcome. Its approach combines preventive care with specialized farriery to address existing problems and support sound movement.
