Korean Art Club

The Korean Art Club of Calgary is a vibrant community organization dedicated to showcasing and promoting Korean culture through various artistic mediums. Founded in 2011 by a group of passionate individuals, the Club aims to foster cultural appreciation among Canadians, particularly those of Korean heritage, by offering a wide range of courses and engaging events.

The Club provides instruction in traditional arts such as Korean painting and dance, alongside music programs featuring instruments like the saxophone, haeguem, and daegeum. Members can participate in dynamic activities, including Samul Nori, a traditional Korean drumming performance, and educational summer schools for children.

Highlighting cultural diversity, the Club actively engages with the broader community through performances at festivals, parades, and cultural celebrations across Alberta.
