Geoforum er det danske forum for geografisk information. Det er en bredt sammensat interesseorganisation med medlemmer fra både offentlige og private virksomheder. Geoforum mener, at Danmark har potentiale til at blive en geografi sk kompetencenation. Danmark har fantastiske data, ikke mindst geodata, i registre og i spil i det hele taget. Vi har kun set begyndelsen endnu. Det er nødvendigt med fortsat øget fokus på uddannelse, kompetenceopbygning og forskning. Gennem de mange aktiviteter vil Geoforum fortsat bidrage til kompetence udvikling på området. Geoforum vil også påvirke beslutningstagere og systematisk opsamle og dokumentere viden om og erfaringer med anvendelsen af geografisk information.

Kortdage is Geoforum Denmark’s annual conference for the geospatial industry, bringing together people interested in maps, geographic information and related fields. The event provides a forum for sharing ideas, presenting research and exploring developments across the sector. Kortdage 2026 is scheduled to take place in Aalborg from 18 to 20 November.
