– Kort Dato

Kort Dato is a discount grocery retailer in Odense, Denmark, offering everyday food and household products at reduced prices. Its three stores are located in Bolbro, Dalum and Højby, with free parking and opening hours every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. New products arrive daily, so the selection changes frequently.

The stores specialise in short-dated goods: products nearing or just past their “best before” date, as well as surplus stock, items with damaged packaging or incorrect labels, and other producer or wholesale overstock. These products are sold for a fraction of typical supermarket prices, helping reduce food waste while making groceries more affordable. Kort Dato says it checks the quality of items before placing them on sale and explains the distinction between “best before” and “use by” dates.

The range includes sweets and chocolate, biscuits and cakes, pantry staples, frozen and chilled foods, drinks, household goods, personal care products and pet food.
