KORU Martial Arts is a martial arts training centre in Oslo focused on technical quality, steady progress and a welcoming, sustainable environment. Its structured classes bring beginners and experienced practitioners together, with training adapted to different skill levels, experience and goals.
Grappling is centred on Brazilian jiu-jitsu, offered in both gi and no-gi formats, including submission wrestling. Classes develop movement, transitions, positional control and submission techniques through focused practice and sparring, from foundational skills to advanced, competition-oriented training. The programme is led by head coach Eduardo “Teta” Rios.
KORU’s striking and MMA training is led by Mohsen Bahari. Muay Thai provides a broad foundation in punches, kicks, knees, elbows, clinch work, balance and distance, while dedicated boxing classes build footwork, defence, timing and precise punching. Together, these disciplines support development in striking and help practitioners build skills for transitions into MMA.
The schedule includes classes for adults and young people, with beginner, all-level and advanced options across Brazilian jiu-jitsu, boxing, Thai boxing and MMA.
