Koryu Budo

Koryu Budo Léon Vader is a traditional martial arts school in the Netherlands focused on the practice of Koryu Budo, a term associated with traditional martial arts and the warrior’s way. The school offers training in Aiki Jujutsu, Jujutsu and Kenpo, alongside bootcamp sessions that develop strength and fitness. Its classes combine practical techniques with conditioning, repetition and attention to relaxation and fighting spirit.

Training includes throws, joint techniques, strikes, blocks and defenses, with ukemi—the practice of rolling and breaking falls—an essential element that helps participants practise safely and confidently. Zazen meditation is also incorporated at the beginning and end of sessions. Classes take place at locations in Zuidermeer and Zwaag, including the dojo at sport hall MFA De Kreek. Bootcamp and Kenpo sessions have also been held at the Zuidermeer location. Prospective students can contact the school by email to ask about joining a trial lesson. Koryu Budo Léon Vader has been affiliated with IMAF-Nederland since April 2026.
