Kost Holzbau und Gesamtbau

Kost is a Swiss family-owned building group with roots in professional timber craftsmanship dating back to 1880. Now in its fifth generation, the company brings together three specialist businesses: Kost Holzbau AG, Kost Gesamtbau AG and Kost Liegenschaften AG. Its services span residential and commercial construction, combining traditional woodworking expertise with architecture, project planning and property development.

Kost Holzbau creates new buildings and supports projects that adapt existing ones, including extensions, additions and roof extensions. The team also undertakes renovations and restorations, including work on historic buildings, façade construction, timber cladding and terrace flooring, as well as customer service. Kost Gesamtbau plans and delivers new construction and building-in-place projects, offering tailored, end-to-end packages. Kost Liegenschaften acquires land and properties, develops and builds projects, and sells them, guiding interested parties through the process.

The group presents wood as a sustainable building material and highlights energy-efficient renovation and future-focused building envelopes. Its portfolio includes residential developments and public buildings, with services designed to support clients from early planning through construction and completion.
