KotarbaDesign

Kotarba Design is the Warsaw-based art practice and author gallery of Marek Kotarba, an independent interdisciplinary artist whose work spans ceramics, sculpture, painting, drawing and graphic art. A graduate of the European Academy of Arts in Warsaw, Kotarba studied sculpture with Professor Ludwika Nitschowa and received his diploma in the studios of Professor Antoni Fałat and Professor Barbara Szubińska. He also studied drawing with Franciszek Starowieyski and Wiktor Zin.

Kotarba has exhibited internationally, including at the Ceramics Museum in Faenza, Italy, and in galleries in France, with works held by private collectors in the United States and Canada. The studio offers commissioned paintings in techniques including dry pastel and acrylic, portraits, sculptures in bronze or ceramic, and sketches, drawings and graphics. Its distinctive “Kotarban” combines acrylic painting with a white porcelain bas-relief. Customers can also commission personalized decoration for dinner and coffee services, cakes sets and individual porcelain dishes, with or without monograms. Kotarba Design welcomes inquiries about custom projects and gallery partnerships.
