Kotokampus

Lempäälän Kotokampus, operated by Lempäälän Ehtookoto ry, is a Finnish-owned community and service centre near the centre of Lempäälä. Founded more than 50 years ago, it prioritizes customer-centred, high-quality services rather than commercial profit. Its welcoming community supports older people and people recovering from mental health challenges. Residents can choose senior housing, communal living or round-the-clock supported accommodation according to their needs, in a private home in the campus’s terraced housing area or in a group home. Staff are present daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.; continuous care is available in the Ehtoonhelmi and Ehtoorinne group homes.

Kotokampus promotes wellbeing through rehabilitation, physiotherapy, creative activities, outings and resident-led daily programmes. Cultural events and shared activities help make everyday life active and meaningful. Beyond residential services, the campus operates a restaurant serving lunch and offers venue hire for events, celebrations and business meetings, with catering available. It also welcomes volunteers, with no previous experience or training required.
