Kouheron Kelkkailijat

Kouheron Kelkkailijat ry is a snowmobile association serving Karstula, Kyyjärvi, Kannonkoski, Saarijärvi and Pylkönmäki in Central Finland. The club works to develop the local snowmobile trail network and takes part in competition activities. It is affiliated with Keski-Suomen Lumikelkkailijat, a regional association of snowmobile clubs.

The club offers seasonal membership and trail-use permits. A €50 seasonal fee provides membership for the current season and access to trails maintained by clubs belonging to Keski-Suomen Lumikelkkailijat, covering much of Central Finland. For €15, riders can obtain a one-week permit to use trails maintained by Kouheron Kelkkailijat. People can also join to support the association’s activities even if they do not ride snowmobiles.

Seasonal stickers are available for collection in Karstula at Autofixaus ja huolto Pekkala Oy and in Saarijärvi at Juhan autohuolto, which is open Monday to Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The club also provides trail information through a Google Maps link and shares news, guidance and membership information on its website.
