Koulutus Pohjola

Koulutus Pohjola is a first-aid training provider based in Oulu, Finland, offering courses for workplaces and groups. Led by Päivi Pohjola, a first-aid and health education instructor with specialist nursing and adult education qualifications, the business focuses on practical skills that help participants respond confidently to emergencies and everyday injuries.

Its course range includes the 16-hour EA 1 basic first-aid course, the 16-hour EA 2 continuation course, and emergency first-aid training in four- or eight-hour formats. The longer courses cover topics such as resuscitation, defibrillator use, unconsciousness, bleeding, injuries and common medical emergencies. Shorter courses provide essential emergency response skills, and four-hour sessions can be used to refresh EA 1 and EA 2 qualifications. Training includes practical exercises and can address group or workplace needs identified through risk assessment. Courses are generally designed for groups of up to 15 participants, with scheduling arranged across one or more days. Koulutus Pohjola also offers course enquiries and can provide first-aid course certificates through Suomen Ensiapukouluttajat ry.
