Kourtup is an Australia-focused tennis app designed to help players find someone to hit with nearby, at a suitable level and time. Based in Sydney and available on iPhone and Android, the service is free to join and play. Players create a beacon indicating their preferred level, availability and court; nearby players who are also looking for a game are notified, and users can choose whom to contact and play with. The app supports players through three steps: sharing a beacon, finding an available match, and connecting to play.
Kourtup maps more than 1,000 tennis courts across Australia, spanning eight states and territories. Users can discover public and private courts, check court details such as location and availability, and plan a game nearby. The platform also highlights real player profiles and aims to foster a trusted, active tennis community. By making it easier to coordinate a hit and meet other players, Kourtup helps people spend more time on court and build local tennis connections.
