The Karachi Press Club (KPC) is a prestigious association that brings together news journalists, cameramen, photographers, academics, business people, and members of the public service. Established in December 1958, it is Pakistan's first press club and has over 2,100 working journalists as members. Located in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, the KPC plays a vital role in the democratic struggle and the fight for press freedom.

With a focus on providing maximum facilities to its members and their families, the KPC offers various amenities. These include a restaurant that serves quality food at affordable rates, an ATM, clinic, utility store, library, computer room, and women's common room. The club is housed in a majestic heritage building that is over 140 years old.

It features a main hall for press conferences and functions, as well as a well-stocked library, a committee room, and a TV lounge on the upper floor. The KPC also organizes the Meet the Press event, where renowned individuals, such as heads of institutions and political leaders, are invited to brief the media about their activities. While only working journalists are eligible for council membership, the club also offers associate membership to distinguished personalities and public relations officers.

The governing body of the KPC consists of 12 members, including the President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Joint Secretary, who oversee the club's affairs. Currently, Fazil Jamil, Web Editor of Daily Jang, serves as the President of the KPC. Throughout its history, the KPC has been the proud home of esteemed members, including Prince Karim Aga Khan, Abdul Sattar Edhi, Prof.

Dr Abdus Salam, Faiz Ahmed Faiz, Imran Khan, and many more. Elections are held every year in the last week of December to ensure the club's continued success.
