About KPITB
KPITB, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board, is a public sector autonomous organization dedicated to the digital transformation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Established under an Act of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly in May 2011, KPITB promotes Information Technology (IT), IT-enabled services, and IT-enabled education for both the public and private sectors of the province. KPITB has made significant achievements in various areas, including good governance, public service delivery, employment creation, and the provision of employable digital skills.
They have introduced ICT in governance to enhance efficiency, accountability, and transparency in the government's workings. KPITB also focuses on promoting ICT businesses, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
