Kraamzorg Global provides Dutch maternity care for families living temporarily or permanently abroad. Founded by Marjolein Klinkhamer, a fully qualified and certified maternity care professional, the service brings a familiar Dutch postnatal care experience to families around the world. Marjolein has worked with families in locations including Germany, France, Spain, Denmark, Turkey, Qatar, the Philippines, Washington and Aruba, and welcomes enquiries from other destinations.

Care is tailored to each family and can include physical checks for mother and baby, breastfeeding guidance, support with newborn care and feeding, and attention to the mother’s emotional wellbeing. Marjolein can also help care for partners and older children, assist with household tasks and prepare meals. Families can discuss their needs in advance, stay in contact during pregnancy and arrange care after leaving hospital. Care extensions and, where suitable, overnight stays are also possible. Marjolein is registered with the Dutch Knowledge Centre for Maternity Care and undertakes regular training. Fees, duration and possible insurance reimbursement are discussed with each family.
