Kraamzorg Baby in Huis provides maternity care for families in and around Groningen, led by Yvonne, an experienced maternity care professional whose career began in 1989. The service is built around personal, tailored support during the maternity week, with the aim of offering families a familiar caregiver and clear, consistent guidance. Yvonne works alongside Kraamzorg Het Groene Kruis, whose experienced colleagues may provide care if she is unavailable because of illness, leave, or limited capacity.

Support is coordinated with the mother, midwife, partner, and other family members, with care adapted to each family’s needs. Because staffing is limited, the number of care hours and whether one caregiver can attend throughout the week cannot always be guaranteed. Families are encouraged to enquire and register as early as possible in pregnancy; registration is arranged after Yvonne confirms availability. An intake usually takes place between weeks 20 and 25, by home visit for a first baby or generally by telephone for families who have previously received maternity care.
