Kraamzorg Peet is the maternity care service of Petra Gerlof-van Groenestein, an experienced maternity care professional who supports families during childbirth and the first days after a baby is born. Her care is centred on helping mothers, babies and families feel safe, supported and confident during this important transition. Petra can assist during a home birth and provide care and guidance after the baby’s arrival, including practical help with the needs of the mother and newborn.

She also explains new aspects of caring for a baby and offers advice, while listening to what parents need and allowing them space to find their own way. Feedback from families describes her as calm, kind, knowledgeable and professional, with a reassuring presence and a flexible approach to helping where needed. Kraamzorg Peet invites prospective clients to get in touch by email to arrange an appointment and discuss Petra’s availability as their maternity care provider.

The service is intended to make the maternity period more manageable through attentive, personal support for the whole family
