Kraamzorg Voorthuizen

Kraamzorg Voorthuizen is the independent maternity-care practice of Herma Zegers, a qualified maternity-care professional based in Voorthuizen and serving families across the Veluwe and nearby areas. Working independently since 2005, Herma provides small-scale, personal support tailored to each family’s needs during pregnancy, birth and the first days with a newborn.

Maternity care focuses on the wellbeing and recovery of mother and baby, helping parents learn to care for their newborn and adjust to family life. Household assistance may be included, depending on the care hours established through the Dutch national assessment protocol. Families can also arrange privately paid additional hours if standard coverage is not enough.

The practice offers pregnancy guidance to provide information, reassurance and practical support as expectant parents prepare for birth. Herma also works as a doula, accompanying clients during labour so they can feel safer and more at ease. Photography during the maternity week is another part of her personal approach. Herma is registered with the Kwaliteitsregister Kraamzorg and is a member of Coöperatie Kraamzorggroep.
