Als dessen Geselle erlernte er neben dem Müllerhandwerk auch die Kunst der Schwarzen Magie und musste sich alsbald gegen den Meister wehren, der nach seinem Leben trachtete. Doch mit einer List und der Liebe gelingt es ihm schließlich, das Böse zu besiegen.“ Mit dem Konzept verfolgt der Förderverein KRABAT-Mühle Schwarzkollm e.V. das Ziel die historische und vielfach in der Literatur beschriebene „Schwarze Mühle“ als einzigartiges Kulturangebot in der Lausitz zu realisieren. Hier entsteht eine Erlebniswelt rund um die Figur „Krabat“, den sorbischen Faust und guten Zauberer, sowie die Erlebbarkeit und Darstellung des traditionellen Handwerks und des sorbischen Brauchtums.

KRABAT-Mühle Schwarzkollm is a cultural and visitor destination in the Lusatian village of Schwarzkollm, developed to bring the legendary “Black Mill” to life. Inspired by the story of Krabat, the Sorbian hero often described as the “Sorbian Faust,” the site combines regional history, storytelling and traditional crafts with Sorbian customs. Its mill grounds offer experiences for visitors of all ages, including guided tours, audio guides, exhibitions, workshops and programs for schools and youth groups.
The calendar features theatrical productions, seasonal events, film nights and culinary gatherings, including the KRABAT Saga and the dinner show “The Innkeeper of Schwarzkollm. ” Guests can enjoy Sorbian and regional cuisine in the restaurant, beer garden, farmhouse room or miller’s house, and book spaces for weddings, meetings and private or corporate celebrations.
