KraftCERT

KraftCERT is an independent, nonprofit cybersecurity organization serving Norway’s energy and critical infrastructure sectors. It operates as an Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ISAC) and Incident Response Team (IRT), helping members protect industrial control systems and improve the detection and response to digital attacks. Its constituency includes the power and petroleum sectors, process industries, water and wastewater services, and energy recovery.

KraftCERT provides vulnerability monitoring and alerts, threat intelligence, and guidance on assessing risks and selecting practical countermeasures. Its detection and incident response services help organizations identify malicious activity, prepare response plans, and manage security incidents. Support can include advice on logging and evidence collection, analysis of suspicious documents or links, and access to a professional incident response team through member agreements.

The organization also offers independent security advice, assists with planning and running exercises, and provides training in incident response, exercise organization, and selected security topics. KraftCERT shares relevant information with members and contributes input to national threat assessments.
