Kraftval

Kraftval is a Swedish electricity-contract comparison service that helps households find and switch to an agreement suited to their location. By entering a postal code, users can compare current prices and available offers from major electricity suppliers across Sweden. The service covers fixed, variable and hourly-priced contracts, with comparisons tailored to the country’s four electricity areas, SE1, SE2, SE3 and SE4, rather than relying on a national average.

Kraftval also provides an overview of current spot prices and average prices by area, helping customers understand how electricity costs vary geographically. Users can complete a contract switch digitally using BankID, and the comparison is free. The company presents the process as quick and straightforward, with the initial comparison taking less than a minute.

Its website includes guidance on how the service works, information about the company, a blog and contact details. Kraftval states that it has helped more than 15,000 satisfied customers in Sweden, positioning itself as a convenient way to review electricity options and make an informed choice
