Krampus America

Krampus America is a resource and community hub for the growing Krampus movement in the United States. It documents how the winter folklore tradition is practiced across the country, from city parades and organized troupes to local clubs and informal walks. The site connects visitors with information about Krampus groups and performers, costumers, reputable mask makers, and non-wood masks, as well as photo galleries and helpful resources.

A central initiative is the Krampus America Convention, scheduled for February 5–6, 2027, in St. Petersburg, Florida. The two-day gathering brings together performers, mask carvers, folklorists, authors, and newcomers for presentations, panels, screenings, and community discussions. Program topics include Krampus history, folklore, costume-making, event design, accessibility, and the tradition’s adaptation in America. The convention also features conversations with mask carvers, authors, German-American clubs, and experienced performers. Krampus America shares attendee profiles and convention updates, and provides ticketing information and lodging options. Through its educational content and event programming, the organization supports the exchange of knowledge, creative practice, and community around Krampus traditions.
