Kraus Gallery

Kraus Gallery is a Jerusalem-based modern art gallery presenting the work of artist Aaron Kraus. Founded by Rachel Kraus, the gallery connects the atmosphere and spiritual character of Jerusalem with contemporary collecting, and has been associated with the city since 1987. Aaron has painted since childhood and studied at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art and HIT Holon Institute of Technology. His work was shaped by years in the Jerusalem studio of master post-impressionist Huvy Elisha. Rather than simply depicting places and people, his paintings seek to express their deeper, felt qualities.

The collection includes one-of-a-kind original oil and acrylic paintings, mixed-media works made from archival prints and finished by hand with oils and gold leaf, and signed canvas prints. The gallery also offers personal contact with Aaron for prospective collectors, worldwide shipping, and certificates of authenticity for original and mixed-media pieces. Each artwork purchase includes a digital album of original Jewish jazz compositions inspired by Jerusalem.
