Krav Maga BC is a Vancouver-based self-defence and fitness school offering personalized training for people with a range of ages, abilities, and fitness levels. As one of the first Krav Maga schools to open in Canada, it emphasizes individual attention through one-on-one and small-group classes, with sessions scheduled to suit clients’ busy lifestyles.

Its self-defence training teaches students to avoid physical confrontations and, when necessary, respond quickly. The school describes Krav Maga as a practical system that can be learned in a relatively short time. Instruction is provided by certified instructors Troy Straith, Danny Dorosh, and Emmanuel Papoutsakis, alongside apprentice instructors Tom Westin and Ava Bampton. The certified instructors have trained with Krav Maga Worldwide and the Krav Maga Alliance under John Whitman.

Krav Maga BC also provides personalized, one-on-one fitness programs centered on functional training. Trainers work with each client to develop a plan suited to their needs, goals, and abilities, supporting strength, weight management, and everyday movement.
