KRDSO

Kauring Robotic Deep Sky Observatory (KRDSO) is an astronomy-focused observatory located beneath the clear skies of Western Australia’s wheatbelt. It invites amateur astronomers and experienced stargazers to explore the night sky using robotic telescopes and professional-grade astronomical equipment. Visitors can discover celestial objects, observe distant galaxies and other deep-sky wonders, and view astronomy images captured at the observatory. KRDSO presents its work as an accessible, immersive way to engage with astronomy and the wider universe.

The observatory’s website offers information about local weather conditions, monthly astronomical events, upcoming observing opportunities, and recent developments in astronomy. It also shares updates and images through its media and social channels, helping visitors follow activity at the site and stay informed about celestial events. Whether someone is beginning to explore astronomy or already has substantial stargazing experience, KRDSO provides a setting and equipment for a closer look at the cosmos. Its combination of robotic observing capabilities, professional-grade instruments, and educational astronomy content makes the observatory a destination for people interested in observing and understanding the night sky.
