Kremo AS is Norway’s oldest animal crematorium, with around 40 years of experience helping pet owners say goodbye to beloved companions. Based in Rygge, the company serves customers across Norway and handles cremations for dogs, cats, rabbits and other small pets. Kremo aims to treat every animal with dignity and understanding, recognising the grief families may experience after a loss.
Cremation is usually arranged through a veterinary clinic, although owners may also deliver their pet and wait at the crematorium while the process takes place. Kremo’s cremations typically take one to two hours. For veterinary clinics and other partners, the company offers a cloud-based tracking system to follow animals received for cremation.
Customers can choose from urns in materials including ceramic, brass, metal, paper and biodegradable options. Selected urns can be personalised with a name, dates or a verse. Kremo also offers ash jewellery, handmade jewellery, memorial items and other keepsakes.
