Kris Foundation, a non-profit organisation founded in 2009 by philanthropist Kris Tan, is dedicated to empowering young classical musicians in Singapore and the region. Over the past 12 years, the Foundation has expanded its support to the wider arts community, presenting over 30 concerts with more than 58 top classical musicians from Southeast Asia. Kris Foundation also aims to develop a uniquely Singaporean sound by commissioning and presenting works by local composers.

In addition to its signature recital series, the Foundation supports various organisations and initiatives in the arts, such as the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, National Arts Council, and more. Kris Foundation has received accolades for its contributions to the arts, including the National Arts Council’s Patron of the Arts Award. The Foundation also sponsors scholarships and special initiatives for tertiary students with special needs in the performing arts field.
