Shree Krishnayan Desi Gauraksha Evam Gaulok Dham Sewa Samiti is a leading Gaurakshashala in India dedicated to protecting and caring for abandoned desi cows and bulls. With the aim of providing proper shelter, food, medication, and care, this organization ensures the well-being of these animals. Unlike other establishments, the cows here are not exploited for their milk.
In fact, the milk is distributed free to saints, tapaswis, Gausewaks, and Ashrams. Started in 2010 with just 11 cows in Haridwar, the organization has grown significantly and now provides shelter and nourishment to over 18,000 cows and bulls across various locations. Run and managed by dedicated saints and Gausewaks, Shree Krishnayan Desi Gauraksha Evam Gaulok Dham Sewa Samiti is registered under the Animal Welfare Board of India and the animal welfare boards of various states.
