About Kristbergbahn
Montafoner Kristbergbahn Silbertal GmbH operates Kristberg, a family-friendly mountain destination in Silbertal, in Austria’s Montafon region. Promoted as the “mountain of indulgence,” Kristberg offers a quieter setting for families, outdoor enthusiasts and visitors seeking relaxation, with activities throughout the year.
In warmer months, guests can explore more than 200 kilometres of hiking routes, themed trails, mountain-bike paths and Nordic walking routes. Attractions include the Silver Trail, interactive experiences, a Kneipp facility and a children’s play area. Guided mountain experiences, the St. Agatha miners’ chapel and a daily mountain breakfast add cultural and culinary options. The area also has restaurants, catered alpine huts and kiosks.
