Kristen Smaldone Nutrition

Kristen Smaldone Nutrition LLC is a pediatric nutrition practice serving families in Newtown and Darien, Connecticut. Led by Kristen Smaldone, a Certified Integrative Pediatric Dietitian with more than 11 years of clinical experience, the practice supports children and caregivers with nutrition, feeding, and mealtime concerns. Its whole-child, family-centered approach considers medical, developmental, sensory, behavioral, social, emotional, cultural, and lifestyle factors that may influence a child’s eating and nutrition. Care is evidence-based, collaborative, and focused on practical strategies families can use in everyday life.

Families can choose flexible, visit-based appointments with Kristen or Julia, or a three-month Whole Child Nutrition Care partnership. The partnership includes visits billed to insurance, secure messaging, care coordination, personalized resources, progress tracking, and a tailored nutrition roadmap. The practice also offers programs and educational resources, including multi-week programs, webinars, parent education, workshops, The Mealtime Shift, and a Starting Solids Workshop. When appropriate, Kristen Smaldone Nutrition communicates with physicians, therapists, schools, and other specialists to support coordinated care and help children thrive.
