Kristin Keyes Interiors is a Nashville, Tennessee, interior design studio specializing in a secondhand-first, low-waste approach to creating distinctive homes. Rather than starting with new furnishings, the studio builds each room around what clients already own, editing what does not work and adding preloved, vintage, and antique finds. Its approach aims to reduce excess consumption while creating polished spaces that reflect the people who live in them.
The studio offers full-service interior design, working with clients to source secondhand pieces and coordinate the makers and tradespeople needed to bring a project together. Its process may include finding furniture through local dealers and online marketplaces, as well as arranging upholstery, wallpaper installation, and electrical work. Kristin Keyes Interiors says projects can deliver magazine-worthy rooms in six weeks, and that most rooms start in the low $20,000s, all in; clients can review pricing before an initial conversation.
For clients who prefer to manage their own projects, the studio also offers a do-it-yourself option with a workbook and access to designers for guidance.
