Kristin M. Young

Kristin M. Young is a photographer and writer whose work is rooted in faith, family, and a belief in finding beauty in everyday life. She describes herself as an African American woman and an unashamed follower of Jesus, bringing her perspective to her theological reflections while making space for the experiences and knowledge of others. Her personal story includes being a wife and mother, and she writes openly about family, grief, and life’s ongoing challenges.

Through her photography, Kristin captures people and life as they are, with an emphasis on honest, meaningful moments. Her services include portrait photography, maternity and newborn sessions, lifestyle photography, and commercial and personal photography. The site also offers session information and resources for new clients, including an explanation of why she works with film.

Alongside photography, Kristin shares writing and personal reflections through journal entries and themed stories about faith, family, community, and travel. Visitors can explore her blog, learn about her approach and background, contact her, and subscribe to her newsletter.
