Krobia.org

Krobia.org is a local photography and history website dedicated to the municipality of Krobia and the surrounding area in Wielkopolska, Poland. It documents the region through contemporary and archival photographs, historical articles, and coverage of local events. The site presents images of landscapes, architecture, landmarks, and community life, helping visitors explore both familiar places as they look today and scenes from the past.

A central focus is Biskupizna, the distinctive historical and ethnographic region around Krobia, including its heritage, traditions, and local identity. Articles also examine Krobia’s history, notable buildings, and important events, with photographs and commentary providing context. The website describes photography not only as a keepsake, but also as a valuable record of everyday life, customs, and change over time.

Krobia.org collects, restores, and publishes old photographs from the region, alongside images documenting its present. It also invites visitors to share photographs, documents, and information about places worth recording, which may be digitally archived and published. The site is published and edited by Łukasz Wajnert.
