About kronbladet.no
Kronbladet.no is a distinguished photo-based website established on February 15, 2005, focusing primarily on the presentation of wild plants found in Norway. The aim for 2005 was to showcase 370 species, mostly photographed in Voss and Sotra. Each image is meticulously digitally processed to highlight specific desired criteria, ensuring high-quality visuals that are often used by media and publications, with pricing arranged on a case-by-case basis.
The site features a comprehensive database covering most Norwegian plant species, presented with names in Nynorsk, Bokmål, Latin, and English. Feedback on plant identification is welcomed to enhance the site's accuracy. Additionally, Kronbladet.no extends its services to marine environmental investigations, website development, and custom web solutions through Brattenborg Natur og Data, the parent company of the website. As a visually enriching resource, it invites visitors to explore Norway's flora and offers a diverse imagery archive for both personal and commercial use.
