Kroni is a Norwegian family app that brings children’s tasks and allowance tracking together in one place. Designed for families with children aged 6 to 14, it lets parents create recurring or one-time tasks, choose whether they earn virtual money, and decide which tasks require adult approval. Children can mark tasks as complete, view their balance, save toward goals, and request family-agreed rewards. Kroni records allowances and balances but does not transfer real money or connect to a bank; any cash payment is handled separately by the family.

The app also includes features to break tasks into smaller steps, display one task at a time, and track agreed rewards with a countdown that does not block other apps. Children can use a dedicated view on a parent’s phone or on their own device, and siblings can share a tablet.
