Menvereniging de Kroonmenners is an active, welcoming association dedicated to carriage driving and the enjoyment of the sport in a club setting. Based in the IJsselmuiden area, the association offers members regular training and opportunities to develop their skills, whether they are beginners or experienced drivers. Weekly lessons are led by a qualified instructor on Thursday evenings.
During summer, training takes place in the club’s 100-by-44-metre outdoor arena, where members can practise daily and work on obstacles or driving courses. In winter, lessons are held at the riding centre in IJsselmuiden. The association also invites national and international guest instructors for additional coaching.
Beyond its regular lessons, Kroonmenners organises outdoor drives, a club championship, dressage and driving-skill competitions, and a mini-marathon. Members work together to organise the competitions, strengthening the community at the heart of the club. With access to the outdoor arena and, by arrangement with Deltaruiters, the indoor riding arena, Kroonmenners supports year-round practice and social participation in carriage driving
