KerryRape Crisis Centre

Kerry Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre (KRSAC) is a community-based organisation in Tralee, County Kerry, providing free, confidential support to people affected by sexual violence and abuse. With more than 30 years of service to the Kerry community, the centre supports people of all genders who have experienced rape, sexual assault, child sexual abuse, grooming or other forms of sexual violence, whether recently or in the past.

KRSAC offers professional counselling, information and practical support for survivors, as well as guidance for people seeking help on behalf of someone they care about. Its approach is centred on listening without judgment, respecting each person’s choices and pace, and providing a safe, confidential space. The centre also shares resources and answers common questions to help people understand their options and access support.

Immediate assistance is available through KRSAC’s freephone service, text or WhatsApp, and email. The centre is open Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm, and Friday, 9am to 4pm. A national 24-hour rape crisis helpline is also listed for urgent support.
