Kaakkois-Suomen Sininauha ry is a nonprofit organization providing professional substance-use support in Finland’s Kymenlaakso region. Working from a Christian value base, the association emphasizes that every encounter matters and that hope and trust can grow through shared action. Its work focuses on low-threshold meeting places and outreach-based housing support.
The association’s meeting places welcome adults seeking company, conversation, guidance with everyday life, or support in managing daily challenges. Visitors can also access breakfast, a phone, and a computer. Services are offered at Sini-Kotka in Kotka, Sinisatama in Hamina, and Sini-Raide in Kouvola.
Through Kotikoodi, service coordinators help people who are homeless, living in inadequate housing, or at risk of eviction to find a suitable home. This service operates in Kotka and Hamina.
Kaakkois-Suomen Sininauha is a member organization of Sininauhaliitto. Donations support its meeting places, peer support, and events. People can also join the association for an annual fee and support local assistance and community-building.
