Notable achievements include being the first Arab nation to complete the mandatory IMSAS audit and receiving the “Quality Shipping in the 21st Century” award in 2023.

KSA offers a range of maritime services, including enhanced logistics capabilities, with ambitious goals to increase port capacity to over 40 million TEUs and rank among the top ten in the Logistics Performance Index by 2030. The country is also investing in renewable energy and clean technology, exemplified by a substantial green hydrogen project.

Furthermore, KSA emphasizes the development of its seafarers, supporting over 1,600 professionals and offering specialized training programs. With initiatives supporting women in maritime and a focus on innovation in marine services, KSA is dedicated to advancing its maritime industry while fostering regional cooperation.
