About Kansas Community Health Worker Coalition
The Kansas Community Health Worker Coalition is a collaborative organization aimed at achieving health equity through education, empowerment, and advocacy. Their mission is to unite community health workers in Kansas and work towards a shared vision of health equity for all Kansans. Community health workers are frontline public health workers who have a deep understanding of the community they serve.
They act as the bridge between the community and health/social services, facilitating access to services and improving the quality and cultural competence of service delivery.
