KSIA

The Korea Ski Instructors Association (KSIA) is a Korean organization dedicated to developing snow-sports instruction and supporting ski and snowboard instructors, enthusiasts, and the wider skiing community. Founded in 1976, it describes its role as setting standards for skiing technique and education and promoting the wider enjoyment of skiing. KSIA is an official member of International Interski and ISIA.

The association administers instructor qualifications and technical grades for both skiing and snowboarding, including Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 examinations, training courses, and qualification services. It also organizes technical championships, racing events, mogul competitions, seminars, and other seasonal activities. Its programs include opportunities for junior and senior participants, as well as the selection and promotion of national, senior, and junior demonstrators.

Through its website, KSIA provides event schedules and registration, instructor and grade verification, certificates, badges, educational materials, and administrative support such as refund requests. Members and visitors can also find announcements, ski-industry news, event resources, galleries, and frequently asked questions.
