RIDE CARE

RIDECARE is an agency-to-agency mental health transportation provider focused on connecting people with behavioral health and related care. It partners with mental health facilities, healthcare systems, hospitals, state and tribal agencies, behavioral health and substance use providers, and law enforcement to arrange emergency and crisis transports. Requests must be submitted by authorized facility personnel or law enforcement; RIDECARE does not accept requests directly from riders or family members. Services are available in Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, Nebraska, and Oklahoma, with state-specific request forms and specialized links for some contracted agencies.

RIDECARE’s model combines trained professionals, safety-equipped vehicles, transportation expertise, and 24/7 dispatch operations. The company describes its service as reliable, compassionate, secure, and designed to support respectful journeys during vulnerable moments. Transports are clinically informed, age-appropriate, trauma-responsive, and culturally competent, helping people move between services as part of the behavioral health continuum of care. In collaboration with Echo One, RIDECARE also supports a coordinated healthcare access network, with technology to help organize requests, resources, information, and performance.
