KSR Muay Thai Luzern, also known as the Kaewsamrit Muay Thai Gym, is a training centre in Littau, near Lucerne, Switzerland. Founded in collaboration with Bangkok’s renowned Kaewsamrit Gym, established in 1992, KSR specialises in traditional Muay Thai, or Thai boxing. The Bangkok gym is recognised for its successful fighters and was named Thailand’s best training camp in 2002.
KSR welcomes people of different ages and experience levels, from beginners and children to aspiring fighters. Training can support goals such as preparing for competition, improving fitness, losing weight, building confidence, and developing movement and flexibility. Sessions last around 75 minutes, with several offered each day. Membership options are available for children, school pupils and students, and adults; members can attend daily training sessions.
The gym is led by owner Sonja Jimerson, a former European and Swiss champion. Its team supports members as they learn the sport and progress in training. KSR also shares gym news and educational content about Muay Thai through its website.
