KST Academy is a sports and youth development initiative based in Trutnov, Czechia, helping children and young people build a lasting, positive relationship with movement. Inspired by the Norwegian approach to sports education, it emphasizes enjoyment, broad development and participation over early specialization or pressure to compete. Its year-round groups welcome children from age three and run from September to June, with activities organized by birth year and designed to introduce participants to a variety of sports.
Beyond its regular groups, KST Academy offers movement programs in kindergartens and school after-school clubs, as well as ski lessons at Mladé Buky. Through KST Events, it also provides children’s camps, courses, events and seminars. The wider KST offering includes a sports-themed online magazine, minimalist clothing made in the Czech Republic, and a shop focused on cycling, running and cross-country skiing. The organization values personal attention, community and cooperation with regional sports clubs, with parents treated as partners.
