KTB 1893

Kölner Turnerbund 1893 e. V. (KTB) is a multi-sport club based in Cologne’s Südstadt, bringing people together through sport and community life in the neighborhood.

Founded more than 125 years ago, the club offers four main activity areas: gymnastics, volleyball, general fitness and recreational sport. Its gymnastics program includes groups for children as well as competitive performance training, while the wider range of activities welcomes people interested in different ways to stay active. Prospective members can find information about membership, fees, registration, cancellations and changes through the club’s website.

At present, the gymnastics waiting lists are closed because of high demand; people interested in volleyball, recreational sport or gymnastics are encouraged to contact the relevant instructors or use the club’s contact form. KTB also shares club news and events, including its summer festival, and invites community members to follow its Instagram page for background information. The club is currently seeking additional instructors and coaches for children’s and performance gymnastics
